The purpose of the AKANP legislative blog is to keep an up to date journal of the progress we make as we work our way through the legislative process. We invite comments from interested parties. All we ask is that all comments be consice, to the point, and polite. We reserve the right to edit out comments that don't meet that criteria.

The ALASKA ASSOCIATION OF NATUROPATHIC PHYSICIANS (AKANP), a professional medical and educational organization, was formed in 1985, by naturopathic physicians, to ensure that the licensure and scope of practice of naturopathic medicine in Alaska remains commensurate with modern naturopathic medical education, and to guarantee future generations of Alaskans access to quality naturopathic health care.
